Bio:

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Abran first developed a passion for photography in High School. In those days it was a film based craft and he fell in love with the magic of the darkroom (dipping an 8x10 in developer bath and seeing the image appear is still mesmerizing to him). Abran spent countless hours shooting, developing and printing photos of Arizona landscapes, portraits and skateboarding, another of his passions at the time. After graduation he made the move to Los Angeles, earning a BS in Business Administration from USC's Marshall School of Business, with the final semester abroad in Budapest. Wanting to pursue his love of photography he also attended classes at Santa Monica College in one of the country's most highly regarded photography programs. He supported himself through college working at some of the finest hotels in the world, including the Four Seasons of Beverly Hills and the Ritz Carlton, Marina del Rey. This not only provided his living expenses, but developed the first-class customer service experience his customers enjoy today. Although photography has evolved so much in recent history, Abran continues to bring the same passion and enthusiasm from the darkroom into the digital age using the latest technology and equipment to create award-winning imagery. Having been mentored by several of the best in their field, he now specializes in architectural, commercial, and travel photography (Europe and Morocco in particular). Based in Marina Del Rey, in immediate proximity to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, and Culver City, Abran serves the greater Los Angles community and beyond.
